Are you ready to explore a more remote area of our local landscape? Join Farmacy Outdoors for an exhilarating intermediate ,steepish undulating walk on a trail boasting lookouts, big tree forests, streams, and volcanic plugs waiting to be conquered. Our hike finishes complete with a gourmet lunch, offers the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Engage in insightful discussions on wellness and health topics, whilst honing your map and compass navigation skills. [Maps provided and compass on loan if desired, previous attendance on one of our Navigation days recommended if unfamiliar with navigation and mapping ] Unleash your inner explorer with Farmacy Outdoors - where nature and wellness collide. This is a steepish Grade 4 [AWTGS} walk of 8km , on fire trail with 260metres of elevation gain and loss. We need to carry whatever weight packs you desire with 2 litres of water , raincoat, warm jacket and good shoes, this is excellent training for those future hikes or just a magical day out in nature in volcanic country. This hike in Coorabakh National Park North of Taree and the hike is rated as a Grade 4[AWTGS]. What we provide: Fun, outdoor adventure, experienced & knowledgeable guides. We are wilderness first aid trained with first aid kits and Dave is a fully trained Outdoor Guide and adventurer with over two decades in the outdoor world. We are insured and have NSW National Parks ECOPASS approval to run business events in these National Parks. Dave is a practicing Pharmacist and Natasha is a practicing Naturopath,Herbalist & Exercise Physiologist. We can supply ankle gaiters if needed for the day. Each participant will get a map of the walk they can keep. Free coffee, tea and muffins/biscuits provided for the hike. Gourmet lunch provided and juice/ kombucha. What You need to bring: Bring your inquisitive self, ready to learn, have fun & connect. Suitable fitness to walk 8km at a slow pace with undulating terrain on uneven surfaces. Suitable walking gear, long pants and good walking shoes .Start time expected to be around 8am finishing around 1pm - This is start time from Starrs Creek, transport can be arranged from Rainbow Flat but will be 1 hour earlier and later viz 7am to 2pm. Sorry no children under 18. This hike is weather dependent due to the road access and cancellation of event may be needed if a severe weather or National Park closure happens, all bookings will be moved to a new date or refunded.
